Gans Parents, Stakeholders, and Community:
The ACT is a school assessment tool which incorporates into the College and Career Readiness Assessment Selection processes per Oklahoma State Department of Education. All students enrolled in the 11th grade at Gans High School will be required to take the ACT for district and state graduation requirements.
In compliance with Section 1111(b)(2)(H) of ESSA, Gans Public Schools would like to provide you with an opportunity to provide meaningful input regarding our district’s intent to request permission to administer the ACT for the statewide assessment. School pictures will be Thursday, August 27, 2020. All traditional students will have their picture taken in the morning. Blended and Virtual students will need to arrive at 1:00 PM at the Gym Lobby entrance. They will be required to wear a mask while waiting for pictures to be taken and can leave campus once pictures have been completed.
