On this 24th anniversary of 9/11, we honor those who were lost and who bravely served.

Two days ago, we received a heartfelt letter (attached below) from Lt. Robert Delaney of the NYPD 7 Precinct. He shared that the banner our students and staff created and sent after 9/11, with the handprints of every child and staff member, has hung in honor inside the NYPD's 7th Precinct, just a mile from Ground Zero, for more than 20 years.

We are inspired by this bond, and humbled to know that our banner continues to encourage these officers and people in New York City. Thank you to Lt. Delaney for reaching out and sharing this story with us. #NeverForget

TONIGHT, the Gans Grizzlies take on the Keota Lions at 7 PM at home! Bring the whole family and help support your Grizzlies! Make sure to follow Gans Grizzly Football on Facebook for more information.

Please join us in kicking off the football season with a patriotic themed pep rally on Friday, August 22nd @ 7 PM! Dress in Red, White, and Blue! We will have free hotdogs, chips, and drinks, a dunk tank where you can dunk a coach for $1 and get free temporary tattoos from the GJH Cheer Squad!

We cannot wait to see you there!

We are experiencing a partial power outage affecting some phones in-district. Cookson-Hills is aware of this and is working on it. Classes and buses will be on schedule as usual.

Tomorrow, from 11:30am to 1pm, any GHS student who did not receive their schedule can pick it up.

Bring your school supplies, see your classrooms, and meet your teachers at our Open House on Tuesday, August 12th from 5pm to 6pm. We are so excited to see you there!

High School students will need to pick up their schedules on the following days in the High School Building:

12th Grade - August 4th, 9-11:30 am
11th Grade - August 5th, 9-11:30 am
10th Grade - August 6th, 9-11:30 am
9th Grade - August 7th, 9-11:30 am

Enrollment for ALL students is open at this time! All students, new and returning, must re-enroll if you haven't already. To enroll a student, please visit the Student Enrollment Office at Gans Elementary School or go to your Wengage Portal to re-enroll.
